As always, we are crazy busy at school… lots of events and exciting activities are happening!

STEM Fest/ SCIENCE FAIR is this Saturday, February 1! Elementary students can wander through our Learning Celebration while upper grades are setting up their science fair activities. Demonstrations and science fair walkthroughs will begin at 10 AM. I am still looking for student volunteers to assist in a force and motion sort.

 

CAMP update – We will be in need of individually wrapped snacks and cases of bottled water for camp. Please let me know if you are able to donate! Snacks are kept in the teacher’s cabin and chaperones are able to come get them as needed throughout the day for all students. Some snack ideas are Nearly Naked Popcorn, granola bars ( nut free), fruit snacks, chips, etc.

WRITING – Students are working on reading through two articles and highlighting ideas that support the topic.They will then start planning their opinion essay

READING – We are continuing to incorporate Readworks assignments through our Google Classroom accounts. This week we are discussion Magnitism

MATH – Students are working on multiplication and division.

 

TO DO:

  • join us at SCIENCE FAIR on Sat from 9-1. Visit sign up genius if you are able.
  • Donate snacks for camp
  • Get gussied up for PICTURE DAY Wed, Feb 5.
  • practice math fact fluency
